CUET Exam Date 2022 Out: CUET (Common University Entrance Test) exam is conducted every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) to enrolll students into various programs offered at all central universities including DU, JNU, JMI, EFLU and the University of Allahabad. Students aiming to study undergraduate programmes in central universities have to appear in the CUET which is now mandatory. A student’s Board marks will have no role in determining his/her admission to a college or a programme. CUET 2022 Exam

National Testing Agency has changed the name of Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) to Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). CUET 2022 will provide a single-window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country Central Universities Entrance Test. CUET 2022 Latest Update

The CUET 2022 UG exam is going to be held on 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th July, 04th, 05th, 06th, 07th, 08th, and 10th August 2022. The exam will be held in 2 slots daily, Slot 1: 195 minutes (3:15 hours) and Slot 2: 225 minutes (3:45 hours). As mentioned in CUET Exam Date 2022 Notice, CUET (UG) – 2022 has been scheduled for approximately 14,90,000 (Fourteen Lakh and Ninety Thousand) candidates, with approximately 8,10,000 (Eight lakh and ten thousand) candidates in the first slot and approximately 6,80,000 (Six lakh eighty thousand) candidates in the second slot. These candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects across 90 Universities.

CUET 2022 Application Form Reopens

CUET 2022 Registration Portal has been reopened for 23rd & 24th June 2022 (11:50 pm) as announced by National Testing Agency. CUET 2022 Registration process is to be conducted on https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. The CUET 2022 application process would comprise steps including registration, application, image upload and payment. The candidates looking forward to admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at several centrally-funded universities must have to submit online applications at the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.

CUET 2022 Application Fee

CUET 2022 Application Fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee either online or offline mode. How to fill CUET Application Form 2022?

The candidates have to fill out CUET Application Form 2022 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Follow the below steps to fill CUET 2022 Application Form. 

Step 1 – Visit the official website of the CUET to fill CUET Application Form 2022.

Step 2 – Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme. 

Step 3 – After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programmes options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for. 

Step 4 – Complete the registration process by entering details like program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen. 

Step 5 – Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number. 

Step 6 – Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the log-in details like personal, academic qualification and communication address.

Step 7 – Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in prescribed format and dimensions. 

Step 8 – Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.

Step 9 – On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. 

CUET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET 2022 Exam can check the required eligibility criteria set by National Testing Agency for admission to UG (undergraduate) & PG (postgraduate) Courses before they start filling out their application form.

CUET Reservation System

As CUET is an entrance exam for admissions to UG courses at the Central Universities, which have been established under an Act of the Parliament, each Central University must follow the norms set by the Government of India, with respect to intake and reservation of seats. This section of the CUET Eligibility provides relaxation to the SC/ST, OBC, and PwD category.

1. CUET 2022 will be conducted in an online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline. 

2. CUET (UG) – 2022 will consist of the following 4 sections namely-

➢ Section IA – 13 Languages 

➢ Section IB – 19 Languages 

➢ Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects 

➢ Section III – General Test

3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 questions are to be attempted.

4. A Candidate can choose a maximum of any 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB together.

5. Section II consists of 27 Subjects, out of which a candidate may choose a maximum of 6 Subjects.

CUET 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) will consist of various topics from the related previous academic syllabus. The CUET Syllabus 2022 for UG courses will be from the 11th and 12th academic syllabus and for PG courses, the syllabus will be from the academic syllabus of the related undergraduate syllabus.

CUET 2022 Counselling

Each participating university will begin its CUET 2022 counselling process post the release of the CUET Result 2022. The candidates have to visit the official website of the participating universities of CUET 2022 regularly to participate in the counselling process as they have to register themselves in the counselling of CUET 2022 and select the desired programmes within a limited period of time. While participating in the counselling, candidates have to carry the required documents along with them for verification. Based on the choices filled by the candidates, the admission lists of CUET 2022 will be released for the allocation of the seats after CUET 2022 Counselling.

CUET 2022 Exam Centers

CUET 2022 will be held at more than 154 centres in various states. The candidates have to select the choice of exam centres while filling out their CUET Application Form. Below is the list of CUET Exam Centres 2022. 

CUET 2022 Admit Card 

CUET Admit Card will be released around 10 to 15 days before the exam date announced for CUET 2022. The CUET Admit Card will consist of the exam centre address, exam timings application number and course applied. CUET hall ticket 2022 along with a valid photo ID is the mandatory document on the day of the examination. In case of any discrepancy in the CUET 2022 admit card, they need to contact the exam conducting authorities immediately and rectify the error.

CUET 2022 Answer Key & Result

The authorities will release the provisional answer key of CUET 2022 in July 2022 in online mode. The test takers can calculate their possible marks through the CUET answer key 2022. In case of any discrepancy in the CUET 2022 answer key, the candidates could contest the answer key by providing the supporting documents within the stipulated time. The CUET final answer key 2022 for PG and UG courses will be released after taking valid considerations.

CUET Result 2022 will be announced on the official website within a month period after the exam is conducted. The result will be displayed in online mode only. To check the result of CUET 2022, the candidates need to enter their login details generated at the time of registration. The CUET Result 2022 will consist of the score obtained in the entrance exam and its qualifying status. The CUET 2022 merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by candidates in the CUET entrance test.

The result login window will appear on the screen.

Enter the roll number and date of birth in the login window.

CUET Result appears on the screen, download and save it for future reference.

CUET 2022 Cut Off

The CUET Cut Off 2022 will be released after the CUET 2022 exam is completed. The CUET Cut Off will be released along with the scorecard of the entrance examination. Only the candidates who score more than the Cut Off marks are invited to participate in online/offline CUET counselling by the relevant authority. The CUET Cut Off will be based on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, previous year cut off marks and the number of seats available. The cut-off marks may vary depending upon the programmes and the universities.
