The Department of Chemistry at Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) Institute of Physical Sciences for Study and Research, Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Assistant (RA) under a CST-UP-funded project.
Project Details:
- Project Title: Biobased Edible Film for Active Food Packaging
- Funding Agency: Council of Science & Technology, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
- Duration: Until 15th November 2025
- Fellowship:
- Rs. 20,000/month (fixed) for the first two years
- Rs. 22,000/month (fixed) for the third year
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks (in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels)
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (as of 01/04/2024)
- Residency Requirement: The applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh with a valid domicile certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (P.I.), Dr. Mithilesh Yadav, within the scope of the project.
- Participation in fieldwork and visits to other research institutes, as required.
