Job Overview:

Position: Associate – Quality Team
Location: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
Department: Quality
Education Requirement: BSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
Experience: 2 to 7 years in a laboratory setting, preferably in pharmaceuticals or related industries

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Quality team, your responsibilities include:

Sampling & Analysis: Conduct sampling and analysis of packaging and raw material samples.

Documentation: Ensure the accuracy of documents, including the preparation of the Record of Analysis (ROA), and review analytical records.

Instrument Care: Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, adhering to SOPs for proper usage and cleanliness.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures, including the use of PPE and compliance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines.

Chemical Management: Oversee the handling and upkeep of chemicals and solvents, maintaining volumetric solutions and reagents.

Nasal Spray Analysis: Operate and calibrate Spraytec and Sprayview instruments for droplet size distribution and spray pattern tests.

Continuous Improvement: Complete assigned training, contribute to laboratory safety, and ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and STPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in analytical techniques and instrument maintenance. Familiarity with SAP for sample tracking and documentation.

Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all analyses, documentation, and sample management.

Lab Safety Knowledge: A deep understanding of lab safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, adherence to JSA, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and address discrepancies and incidents in the laboratory.

Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with the Group Leader and other team members.
