Paper – I – General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension

General Awareness: (100 Marks)

Constitution of India, Polity, Governance, Social Justice (40 marks)

  • Explain the key features of the Indian Constitution.
  • Discuss the principles of social justice and their relevance in contemporary society.

Current events of National and International importance (40 marks)

  • Analyze recent national and international events and their significance.
  • Provide a detailed account of any ongoing social or political issue in India.

English Language & Comp rehension: (50 Marks)

Comprehension (10 marks)

  • Provide a summary of the given passage.
  • Identify and explain the main ideas conveyed in the text.

Do as directed (Active-Passive; Direct-Indirect etc.) (10 marks)

  • Transform the given sentences from active to passive voice or vice versa.
  • Convert direct speech to indirect speech or vice versa.

Note: The total marks for the entire examination are 500, with each paper contributing to the overall assessment. The time allotted for Paper I and Paper III is 2 hours each, while Paper II has a time limit of 2.5 hours.
